Dictatorship of the Bourgeoisie by Party9999999 Dictatorship of the Bourgeoisie by Party9999999
"Democracy for an insignificant minority, democracy for the rich – that is the democracy of capitalist society. If we look more closely into the machinery of capitalist democracy, we see everywhere, in the “petty” – supposedly petty – details of the suffrage (residential qualifications, exclusion of women, etc.), in the technique of the representative institutions, in the actual obstacles to the right of assembly (public buildings are not for “paupers"!), in the purely capitalist organization of the daily press, etc., etc., – we see restriction after restriction upon democracy. These restrictions, exceptions, exclusions, obstacles for the poor seem slight, especially in the eyes of one who has never known want himself and has never been in close contact with the oppressed classes in their mass life (and nine out of 10, if not 99 out of 100, bourgeois publicists and politicians come under this category); but in their sum total these restrictions exclude and squeeze out the poor from politics, from active participation in democracy.”
Vladimir Lenin

And this is what I tell people everyday! If you want democracy, start with DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM and possibly worker-cooperation.

THIS IS A DAMN LIE!!! DEATH TO COMMUNISM!!! Leaders of it like Stalin, Mao, and others, had plans that killed millions of people in Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes the name of "equality"!! Look at how the gulags were used under stalin, and the killing fields of Mao!!

You imply the US hasn't killed millions of people. We have killed innocents since our founding as well. You also imply that the post above is a lie. That is not true. "Dictatorship of the workplace" means a large business being dictated by a CEO or small group, instead of being a cooperative or state-run enterprise.

True, the USA has killed innocents before. Like the Natives as well as the CIA with their drug cartels in South America and Panama and Guatemala. However, this does NOT let communism off the hook. Lenin led the charge to KILL the Czars family and any peasant who didn't align with them.

Indeed, no ideology or group is perfect, especially one during a revolution. Lenin killed the czars, but the French were also quick to behead their former rulers. Every group kills, and the (early) Soviets are as guilty as the rest of us.

(Just to clarify, I'm not a Leninist, nor a Communist.)

Not to mention, even though America preaches "democracy" to the world and its own people, the CIA keeps overthrowing democratically elected governments in third world nations and replaces theme with brutual dictatorships. Hell, the US even supports extremely repressive regimes in Central Asia, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar/Burma(where there is genocide against the Roghinya Muslims taking plae since June
2012), South America, the US supported the Shah of Iran(one of the most brutal dictators), Congo/Zaire(Joseph Mobutu/Mobuto Sese Seko was ttrocious to his own people), and in many other third world nations. So yeah, America just wants to preserve capitalism~

And when this was written? Like 110 years ago? And tell me, please, what kind of a state created communist party under the rule of Lenin? Did they have free press? Free elections? Any freedom to choose the workplace? Any freedom at all?
I don't think you actually understand what is war communism or soviet socialism. Have you really read historical researches? Maybe you lived in North Korea as a peasant or in China as a factory worker, or in any other country with 'true democracy'? And i hope you are not getting any subsidies or any money at all from your own government (because, you know, it is evil compared to Angola or Zimbabwe (or whatever names these countries now have)).

Well, if it's alright for me to state:

The U.S. is not a democracy by definition. Presidential Republic, Republic, call it what it is, but... It certainly is not a democracy (in a literal sense).

Questions:

How old are these pictures exactly? (the three at the bottom)
My estimation would be all before the 1970's, in the U.S.S.R.

The notations of the three on the bottom... How are they related to today's politicians? Sure, some of them may be slightly corrupt, but they certainly are not industrialists. :S

I've only recently become a worker, and within a rather large corporation as well. What, in essence defines a so called dictatorship of a workplace? My place of employment is rather lax, of course subtracting terms of following the laws.

From today's standpoint, I tend to hear more negative objections towards leftish-party ruled states. Is this necessarily incorrect, to say that workers in Communist China are underpaid and given no say in the government?

Can someone explain to me, please, why people believe that a state ruled by equality is best, even though human nature is to be greedy to an extent, and wish for more?

If someone can, then please, i'd appreciate clarity, as i'm still rather fresh into politics.

I love how he decries a system in which some people have reduced influence in politics, and replaces it with a system in which nobody but his cronies have ANY influence in politics. Oh, and also everybody has to do what he says or they get the bullet. The man's a hero, I say. A HERO!
