I feel that this has incredible bias, and much cherrypicking as Americans call it.

Good ole dog-eat-dog American capitalism :|

Wait, why is Paris Hilton even a celebrity at all ? I haven't seen her in any movies and I doubt she'd be smart enough to have any musical ability, so why is she even famous ? :/

It's all Thomas Edison's fault anyway; if you wanted to EFFECTIVELY jab against capitalism, that would be the way to go. Just a helpful tip from a libertarian giving some First Amendment sanctioned advice to a friend whose ideals I may not support but fully accept his right to have.

The Communists probably would have murdered Nikola Tesla.

Because for one, he was an intellectual...But he also made the quote, "Never trust a Jew."

Which the Original communists (who were mostly Jews) made antisemetism a "crime" punishable by death in 1917.

There's no real evidence he said that, and hardly he would - it was against his own religion...

And what was his religion? And your evidence?

I'm not sure if the quote is real or not...But Tesla had to deal with a lot of Jewish Banksters( like J.P Morgan, Paul Warburg, Jacob Schiff) who were trying to destroy his plans...In fact these banksters are the reason why his plan to give the world free wireless energy never came to fruition. It's also interesting to note that Jacob Schiff was funding the Bolshevik Revolution.

You would be surprised who said these kinds of things...George Orwell wrote, "Trust a snake before a jew"

But the Communists would have murdered Tesla anyways, simply because he refused to give them (and the American government)  the full blueprints to design his infamous 'death ray.'

The Soviets wouldn't have killed Tesla, they would have known the value of the man.

When the American and Communist powers were seeking the design blue prints/ knowledge to build his infamous 'death ray' instead of giving them both complete blue prints, he actually mixed the blue prints up and sent half of them to the Communists, and half to the American government, so they would never really understand how to build it completely...He saw the corruption in both the Communist and Capitalist powers. For the reason of his unwillingness to bow down to Communism, he probably would have been executed/ tortured to death...Just like tens of millions of others, many being educated intellectuals. The Communists weren't exactly known for superior technological advancement...No doubt they were the main hand in destroying Germany, the most technologically advanced society in the world.

You need to have not only a good idea but a way to profit from it. Tesla had a brilliant idea but a horrible business model. Also Paris Hilton is rich because of her father who built and runs the most successful hotel chain in the world.

Paris Hilton. Born rich.
Nikola Tesla. Born poor.

You want to change that? Don't let kids inherit. See how motivated your workers are now.

Meanwhile in the glorious worker's paradise of the Soviet Union, midlevel party hacks and Breznev's third cousins once removed made several times what the top scientists and artists did. All systems sometimes make undeserving people rich.

Capitalism gives the masses the ability to vote for what they want (with money) so its the peoples fault, not the system.

To be fair Tesla was starting to lose his mind and became obsessed with pigeons. He drove everyone away from him. Tesla may have been smart but Edison beat him out.

The reason Tesla died impoverished was because he had mental illness that society couldn't diagnose or treat at that time.

I may commenting too much on your stuff today... before I start, please forgive me if I have offended you in previous comments, it is not my intention...

on a lighter note, I admire Tesla, a Great man who decided that his invention (AC) was to improve the world, not caring about if it would make him rich

Hello pot, this is the kettle, you're black.

Seriously dude, you have situational and anecdotal evidence at best.

Intellectually dishonest, misleading and cheery picked, if this is the best you can do, then Communism really is, and thank goodness for it, a dead movement.

Mr. Party does posters. Propaganda art. That's just what he does. Nothing as big as a informative essay on this and that on what he supports and what he's against. So I think the cherry picking is a little justified in my opinion.

When will people realize that capitalism, and communism are both evil, and really not that different? They both use money, and they both have a ruling elite.  All the 'isms' are outdated!
We need a 'RBE' Resource Based Economy, YAYYYY!

Depends on what definition of Communism you use...  For example if you define Communist as a classless, stateless society (as was common before the USSR existed) then there aren't ruling elites and depending on what specific post-capitalist society one advocates, no money either (e.g. Kropotkin's Voucher system).

Are you familiar with futurist Jacque Fresco's Resource Based Economy? A lot people have accused him of repackaging communism, though the biggest difference I see between them is the RBE system uses no money. And the motive behind every corruption, and just about every social injustice is always money and power

Except that Libertarian Communists (i.e. Anarchists) also advocate the abolition of money in addition to the abolition of heirarchical social and political structures in favor of replacing them with a system of direct democracy where resources are distributed based on need.

In fact the are many examples of this being realised on a small scale during the Spanish Civil War in 1936.

Whilst I'm aware that Jacque Fresco is different to Peter Joseph and the Zeitgeist Movement, I believe this video, for the most part, applies fairly well to both: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SZT7M…

Historical Communisms Could not get rid of money. It was not an element of their system but simply one that they could not, or wanted not, replace. THeoretical communism is not based in money.

You do realizing this is situational evidence and a huge logical fallacy right? I could examplify the opposite way just as easily. Watch:

Henry Ford: Founded Ford Motor Company and revolutionized industry; died filthy rich

Franklin Delano Roosevelt: Tried to fix the New Deal and only prolonged it; died during a war and an economic depression
